David Reynolds

Former DEA Supervisory Special Agent

Over 20 years in investigative law enforcement experience

David Reynolds has an extensive and comprehensive background in both local and federal law enforcement. During his service with the Drug Enforcement Administration in Chicago, IL, he held the positions of Special Agent, Supervisory Special Agent, and Inspector. In these roles, he conducted internal investigations, developed compliance training programs, and authored critical incident reports.

During his tenure as a Supervisory Special Agent and Group Supervisor, David spearheaded and managed complex investigations targeting Transnational Organized Crime organizations. This work included supervising Special Agents and Police Officers in the field. Additionally, as a Supervisory Special Agent, David was responsible for overseeing all administrative and investigative work completed within DEA policy.

As a Special Agent, David conducted interviews and provided expert testimony on drug and gang-related matters. David led several high-profile investigations, including initiating a Racketeering Influenced Corruption Organization (RICO) investigation that led to the arrest of a corrupt local law enforcement official, violent gang members, and wholesale drug traffickers.

David was selected by his colleagues to participate in specialized training to assist agents, officers, or support staff involved in a traumatic event.

David is a highly qualified professional with a Master of Science in Law Enforcement and Public Safety from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana University.
